Head of Stock Integrity, Compliance and Control Room

Role Overview

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management, and related systems within UK, also responsible for all EU Dc`s and UK stock compliance, ensuring efficient operations, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness, while also leading and developing the stock integrity, compliance and control room teams. This role will also play a key role in the ‘Kingsway optimisation’ on the strategic solutions and CI workstreams, involving solution design and automation development. This role is part of the senior leadership team and is expected to contribute on all site matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the control room and stock integrity teams on site based in UK
• Lead Stock Compliance for both UK and Eu Dc`s
• Identify stock and systems inefficiencies and provide new ways of working
• Ensure that space within the facility is utilised effectively and make recommendations for improvement and enhancement
• Provide cost efficient management of the stock integrity function, including availability and service levels as well as security, cycle count process and reconciliation
• Liaise with key stakeholders on matters surrounding inventory accuracy and auditing
• Liaise with key stakeholders on all matters surrounding compliance
• Create useable data to ensure inventory and compliance are supporting the operation
• Be able to demonstrate the influencing skills required to ensure that stock/system KPI’s are supported and delivered by the management team
• Ensure warehouse solution design is organised and configured across all operational departments in the most efficient way to maximise productivity.
• To work closely with the operational leadership team and support with delivery of throughput on both Ecommerce and Retail
• To create and drive a culture of Continuous Improvement

What we are looking for in an ideal candidate

• High level of WMS knowledge and computer literate
• Automation experience is essential, ideally automation implementation (PSB and Dematic desirable)

• Relevant experience in an inventory/stock/compliance/systems role, in a high-volume warehouse operation (Experience of omni-channel retail distribution desirable)

• An engaging and positive leadership style

Analytical with enhanced attention to detail

• Good commercial awareness
